Welcome to everyone who has been good enough to attend or to show interest in our sale.

It has been an incredible journey for us since the MOOMBI prefix was registered and we paid our first membership in 1976. Our first animal to carry the MOOMBI prefix was a bull born 01.08.1978 named Archimedes and sired by Meriwong Tamar.

Since that date we have had a great run, winning over forty Sydney and Beef Spectacular Championship awards. This included two Horden Trophy wins for Interbreed Pair. Partnering Moombi White Lightning was a Spry’s heifer and partnering Moombi Daffodil X12 was a Polldale bull. Daffodil X12 went on to win the Supreme animal with 1200 entries. The stud has won four Dubbo National Grand Champions and several at top price.

One of our greatest achievements was at the Dubbo National in 1995 when 10 bulls averaged $10,050 and seven of the ten went to studs. That 10 for 10 record stood for over 20 years only to be broken by Moombi. Currently our cattle are giving us fertility, doing ability, performance and a desirable carcass. We believe they are the traits that put money in the pockets of commercial cattle breeders.

There is no doubt that we will miss these cattle as they have been so good to us and we trust they will be just as good to their new owners. Unfortunately time stands still for nobody so we thank you for your support and friendship over the years.
